About Apollo Night w/ Rayzor
Rapidly becoming one of the sharpest comedians to hit the comedy scene, Rayzor is quickly living up to his name. Hard-hitting and hysterically quick, Rayzor combines his life experiences as a child growing up in a Caribbean household to becoming an adult here in the United States. He offers a wacky insight on the views of an outsider. Originally from the planet of Brooklyn, Rayzor is the only one of his siblings to be born in the United States. Rayzor had to help his parents quickly adapt to the American way of life. "Growing up as the child of two immigrants, all I knew how to do was work hard "; and work hard he has. In his almost decade and a half career as a comedian, Rayzor has achieved pinnacles and valleys but always has maintained a positive outlook. He has become a crowd favorite as a feature and headlining act at comedy clubs from New York to L.A. to Miami. His list of accomplishments is rapidly growing and among those accomplishments, he considers opening for the late, great rapper Tupac Shakur as a career changing moment. "Being on stage, with a crowd of that magnitude made me realize how much I really loved what I was doing. I thought to myself, there is nothing else. Stand-up is my life". Shortly thereafter he made his national television appearance on BET Comic View and hasn’t looked back since. He has been seen in music videos with the likes of Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys, Trick Daddy Dollars, Trina, Ludacris and Fat Joe and recently his talents were seen on HBO in P. Diddy Presents The Bad Boys Of Comedy. He has also recently made his directorial debut with his documentary, "Real Talk: Hip Hop Comedy", which will be distributed through Koch Distribution for Mercury Entertainment. His dream is to leap on to the big screen and at his current pace Hollywood is not a far off.
